All students coming to study to New Zealand must have a current visa or permit to enter the country and remain for the duration of the education program.
It is each student’s responsibility to obtain a visa to New Zealand and meet the requirements of the New Zealand Immigration Service (NZIS). Students may apply directly to the nearest New Zealand Immigration Service Branch or use a reputable agent. While NZIS will make an independent decision on the merits of each application, NZSTT will assist students where it can in understanding the visa process.
For continued validity of your Student Visa while in New Zealand , it is a NZIS and NZSTT requirement that attendance remains above 85% and ongoing academic progress is achieved.
