There are different types of visas and the country you come from will determine which visa type you need. Generally, students applying for a course of 3 months or less can enter New Zealand on a Visitors Visa or a Working Holiday Visa. All students enrolling in a course of 3 months or more should apply for a Student Visa. If you want to study two or more short courses of study or training (whether at the same time, or one after the other), you need a student visa or permit. The ELS will ask to see your visa at orientation.
